While fishing on 12/15/06 some fisherman saw something unusual in the water heading out to sea. It was a buck and a huge 10 pointer at that. My guess is that hunting dogs ran it into the water and he was so scared that he would have drowned.  they quickly herded him back toward shore and the tired animal stumbled to safety. On this trip they also caught over 50 trout in one hour once they got on them.

Some fisherman fish the Steinhatchee FL flats with topwater lures and end up catching about 30 redfish.
